I never have young hens this age! One of the prettiest breeds out there, they are friendly calm girls with beautiful moonglow feathers- On top of that you get wonderful blue eggs.
Ameraucanas pea comb makes them a great bird for colder climates.
These girls typically have a quiet and calm personality, and you can expect 4-6 blue eggs per week from these hens.
The Lavender color variation is also called “self-blue” and will breed true.
The lavender color is similar to the blue coloring but is generally lighter in appearance than the blue.
The American Poultry Association does recognize the self-blue color variety (APA doesn’t call it Lavender) in this breed.

10 WEEKS OLD on 12/2 Olive Eggers- $35- Olive Eggers are created by crossing a dark brown egg layer with a blue egg layer.
These F1 generation hybrids typically lay an olive-colored egg, however, it can be in various shades and the potential does exist to lay eggs of different colors such as tinted, etc.
Beautiful and plentiful eggs.
Olive Eggers will lay 4-6 eggs per week! (usually dark olive to light teal).
These Olive Eggers are an F1 hybrid.
If you breed the offspring, they will be considered an F2 Oliver Egger.
Their feather patterns will likely not look the same, but often their eggs are darker olive than that of their parents.
Penedescada- Rare.
Very dark “red” Eggs-- $35.
Penedesencas lay some of the darkest brown-red eggs you will see, one of the darkest of any chicken variety.
As dark, if not darker than Marans.
Egg color has been called "terracotta" (see pics).
They are an extremely rare Spanish breed and almost went extinct until efforts in the 1980s saved them.
You can expect 4-6 eggs per week.
They are active, make excellent foragers and do wonderfully in heat.
Black Copper Maran- $35 -2 girls left! These are the darkest egg layers (tied with Penedescadas) for large, dark chocolate eggs.
Black Copper Marans eggs are the darkest of all the Marans varieties, and these girls are some of the friendliest in the flock.
They do well on free range, and cause less damage through heavy scratching than other breeds.
The eggs are the darkest at the beginning of the laying cycle.
Expect 3-5 dark chocolate eggs weekly.
I cannot guarantee that every hen will lay the darkest egg.
There are too many genes involved in egg color to be able to reliably predict each hens egg color.
However most from this line have been at a 6 on the maran scale.
