The Role AMERGINT is seeking DevSecOps engineers who are passionate about working closely with AMERGINT engineering teams to create tools, processes, and automation to make software deliveries to customers more repeatable and efficient with better quality.
In this important role, you will be working on enterprise tools like Docker, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, GIT, Bash, Python and others to build tools and automation.

Core Responsibilities Work with IT to manage/monitor/scale development infrastructure JIRA / Confluence Automation Define/maintain best practice workflows for GitLab Building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab Building and integrating tools for: Linters and static code analysis to enforce best of breed coding practices Thread and Memory Sanitizers Familiar with Cobbler/Foreman Prepare for migration to RHEL 9 Curate RHEL 9 repo with Foreman Build a process to allow packages to be added to the curated list Work on optimizing internal Docker based build system to improve performance Communicate and collaborate across the engineering team Evaluate and recommend solutions and guide team decision-making Continuously improve, adapt, and grow Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 3 years of work-related experience in the DevSecOps domain 5 years of experience with Linux 5 years of work-related experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation, working in languages such as C, C++ Proficient with Python scripting Proficient with Bash shell scripting Proficient building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab Experience with JIRA and Confluence and automation through APIs Experience with GIT and automation through APIs Passionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes.
Willingness to learn new technology and approaches.
Solid understanding of testing principles and high-quality software.
Excellent communication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and thoroughness Preferred Skills Experience with Python 3 and converting Python 2 code to Python 3 Familiarity with cyber security best practices Visa Restrictions: No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, occasionally operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time.
The employee will use protective equipment when working with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.

What We Offer Colorado pay range from $85,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on education and years of experience.
