Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer-Radar (Active Top Secret Security Clearance Required) Job Code: 2223 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Description: As a Chief Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in design, development, implementation, testing and training of/for command and control systems for our warfighters.
This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together.

In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a system engineering role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers! Essential Functions: Lead the overall technical aspects of the program in close collaboration with the Prime Chief Engineer and Government Chief Engineer including being the primary Technical POC to the Government SPO for the PARCS System.
Collaborate with the SPO and Prime CE to facilitate actions in response to a wide variety of GMASS-covered systems (PARCS and UEWR) technical issues, failures,deficiencies, concerns, and recommendations for improvement.
Interface with customer to shape the sustainment and modernization projects and prioritize the backlog.
Lead engineering teams through complex system development, modernization, sustainment.
International travel will be required Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance 15 years experience with Large Phased Array Radar (LPAR) systems Knowledge of radar front/back-end HW/SW Hands-on experience with PARCS system (UEWR Systems a plus) Experience as a Chief Engineer on a large full-lifecycle program Preferred Additional Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or adjacent fields.
Ability to negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.
) Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details Organized and detail-oriented Rational DOORs SysML/MBSE Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,500 - $233,500.
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
