Summary
The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for leading efforts for continuous learning and professional development at HR Green.
This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of the “Grow with Green” program including training delivery, performance management, and continuous development for all employees.
This position will analyze development needs, identify opportunities and objectives, design and deliver training programs and materials, and evaluate outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and execute the organization’s talent development strategy through coordination with the Talent Development Committee and HR Green Leadership
Develops annual Talent Development calendar in coordination with the Talent Development Committee and HR Green Leadership.
Serves as Chair of the Talent Development Committee.
Designs, develops and delivers innovative learning solutions by selecting the appropriate methodology, including group instruction, simulation exercises, individual self-study, and e-learning.
Identifies development needs across the organization and implements processes and solutions to support employee growth and promote a high performing organization.
Monitor training effectiveness and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization by leading special projects, conducting research, analyzing programs, and providing critical feedback that helps to improve processes and practices.
Provides support to succession planning across HR Green including recommendations for executive coaching and external courses/workshops.
Develop, manage and monitor HR Green’s mentoring program.
Coordinates external resources and vendors.
Maintains accuracy of information and records in HR Green’s Learning Management System (LMS) and resolves LMS issues as needed.
Monitors and reports on attendance and compliance with required courses in adherence with applicable regulations.
Leads and administers the annual performance checkpoint cycles.
Develops resources and tools to support employee performance and career development.
Delivers training to People Managers relating to performance conversations and best practices.
Conducts assigned employee relations investigations and recommends action plans.
Prepares investigation documentation.
Engages with external legal resources as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
Has 5 or more years of related experience.
Has strong interpersonal and presentation skills and attention to detail.
Must have a thorough understanding of Talent Development, Training, Instructional Design, and Performance Management.
Has a working knowledge of technical and office support software required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or similar specialized certifications for training, learning and development professionals preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to travel 20% on average.

Compensation Range
$78,000 to $121,500
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and California’s SB 1162.
The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.
The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s).
