*Job Description: * As a member of the NCC, the successful Cybersecurity Systems Engineer will be responsible for technical partnering with Growth and Strategic Managers to develop and support cyber security services and products, but with an emphasis on services.
They will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, scoping level of effort and recommending services that provide successful outcomes for our public and private sector customers.
The successful candidate will be able to design, understand and architect solutions to their security environment, assist customers with planning for large-scale transformations in cyber technology, and recommend the appropriate post sales resource teams to ensure client success.
The candidates should be highly competent communicators and presenters with experience running virtual and in-person customer discovery workshops.
Previous experience includes understanding and translating technical cybersecurity solutions into business value for C level executives and their companies.
This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
*Location:* We require candidates to be within an hour’s drive from Colorado Springs, CO.
*Job Responsibilities: * •Conduct discovery to understand and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of your prospects and customers •Manage key aspects of the sales cycle, in conjunction with the sales team, including requirements gathering, demos, proof of concept, and product specification and development.
•Use customer requirements to develop cybersecurity service products and services.
•Assist in the development and delivery of cyber security training material • Plan and build compelling technical and business-focused solutions which drive adoption and growth •Present products and features to customers at meetings and events.
• Answer questions from customers relating to solutions and deliver technical enablement.
•Build strong consultative relationships with individuals in customer and partner organizations to ensure customer and partner satisfaction.
•Provide advanced training and support for the sales teams.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry, technical and competitive landscape to ensure the presentation and sale of the best client solutions.
•Understanding the competitive landscape and effectively differentiate NCC leadership •Domestic travel is required and may be up to 25% of the time.
•Continuously investing in yourself to develop technical and professional skills that drive your ever-increasing contributions to customer success while actively participating within the SE community and at industry events *Qualifications / Skills: * •The individual would have done cyber training, customer support/installation, and product/services definition at a minimum.
•Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to influence through effective presentations and customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
•Ability to promote end-to-end solutions that may include partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner •Interpret and communicate information, ideas, and instructions clearly, accurately and persuasively both verbally and in writing including materials intended for distribution.
•Incorporate new facts and ideas into group processes and apply creative thinking to develop new solutions.
•Direct experience in cybersecurity with either services or products, but emphasis on services *Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: * •technical degree or equivalent experience required •5+ years of experience working in cybersecurity including 2+ years working in a sales or consulting role *Desired Certifications may include one or more of the following:* •Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) •Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) •Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) •CompTIA Security+ •Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) •GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) •Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) *Job Competencies: * •Self-motivated and detail oriented •Strong interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team •Superb organizational and prioritization skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to create technical documentation (SOWs, project timelines, etc.
) for sales and delivery teams •Cybersecurity product/services development, training, and sales •Team player who knows when to lead and when to follow *Job Type: *Full-time *Salary Range: *$130,000-160,000/year plus excellent benefits and additional compensation opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $130,000.
