*Responsibilities:*
* Perform security engineering, develops security architecture artifacts, oversees penetration testing and security exercises, performs computer OS forensic analysis, supports network security, and automates security compliance for systems
* Responsible for engineering security into system design documentation, performing cyber hunt activities, and configuring SIEM and Splunk tools
* Identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades
* Lead performance of penetration testing and security exercises
* Secure network systems and participates in vulnerability scans using Tenable Nessus
* Utilize tools such as Zeek and ELSA to perform network security monitoring
* Implement solutions to automate security compliance of systems
* Collect and review security analytic measures and oversees security incident detection activities
* Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams
* Evaluate IT enclave systems and assess risk posture and system security findings and recommends mitigation
* Evaluate analytical and systematic problems of workflows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action

*Compensation & Benefits:*
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $185,000 - $205,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

*Minimum Requirements:*
* PhD degree in a cybersecurity/engineering related field, and at least 2 years of cybersecurity engineer experience
* Or a Master’s degree in a cybersecurity/engineering related field, and at least 4 years of cybersecurity engineer experience
* Or a Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity/engineering related field, and at least 6 years of cybersecurity engineer experience
* Or an Associates degree in a cybersecurity/engineering related field, and at least 8 years of cybersecurity engineer experience
* Or a High school diploma/GED, at least 10 years of cybersecurity engineer experience
* Possess one of the following certifications:
* DoD 8570 IAT II certification (which includes either a Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, and/or SSCP certification)DoD 8570 IAM II certification (which includes either a CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, and/or HCISPP certification)
* Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire.
Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
