Job Title Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) About the Team Clover integrators and developers rely on the Clover SDKs and Clover hardware to create applications for their customers.
The SETI (Software Engineering for Test Infrastructure) team is responsible for testing the Clover SDKs and ensuring that our integrators and developers have a reliable platform for their products.
Our robot lab has 35 custom-built robots running automated test suites.
Robots are controlled by REST services and managed through a centralized "orchestration" service the team created and built.
Jenkins pipelines utilize a variety of scripts to prepare the robot and Clover devices for test executions.
The team uses two custom test automation frameworks to verify the various payment flows supported on Clover devices in combination with the application SDKs that drive the payments.
We test 5 different SDKs/language bindings (iOS/macOS, Windows, Java, Javascript and Android) which support multiple connectivity protocols (WebSockets, REST, USB, BlueTooth, etc.
).
We run the test suites across multiple device configurations.
The team supports full regression testing for monthly apps releases and develops new tests and framework capabilities as required by new features.
What you will do: As an SDET, you will be responsible for executing manual and automated regression tests Diagnosing failures across a complex integration environment Working with development to scope and test new features Writing test plans and test cases Coordinating with distributed testing teams to ensure release deadlines are met Creating automated tests that drive lab robots and troubleshooting existing tests Updating Java-based test frameworks to accommodate changes and new features Creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines and jobs to manage automation tasks Identifying testing gaps and strategies for filling those gaps What you need to have: 4+ years as an Software Development Engineer in Test or QA Testing experience Must have experience in OOP, such as (Java, Python, or something similar) Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases Experience with manual and automated testing in a complex environment Must be comfortable assimilating new concepts in a rapidly moving and changing environment, applying experience and judgment to evaluate and prioritize incoming tasks, coupled with effective multi-tasking.

What would be great to have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experienced in, Jenkins, Jira, SQL and Android would be helpful Salary Range $66,800.
