Programmer’s role is to design, code, test, and analyze customized software programs and applications.
This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
The Sr.
Programmer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.
Expectations include to work in data analysis, business intelligence, data systems integration including configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
The role will also work to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of PRCA information systems by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing software and associated operational systems.
*Essential Duties:* · Assist/mentor other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications.
· Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with organization applications.
· Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
· Provide support to end users in resolving issues with internal and external software applications · Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
· Administer diagnostic analysis of test results and deliver solutions to critical areas.
· Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
· Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices.
· Design and develop applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third-party products.
· Gather statistics and prepare and write reports on the status of the programming process for discussion with management and/or team members.
· Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
· Maintain high standards of data quality through the introduction and enforcement of information handling processes and organization of software design, development, and operational processes.
· Oversee the quality assurance of program logic, data processing, and error resolution.
· Plan phases of the SDLC for a wide array of projects.
· Propose and create design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction for development.
· Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team.
· Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
*Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* · Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of IT support experience is desired.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
· Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
· Experience with data management within the context of software development.
· 5 years of experience in .
NET development along with .
NET core · Experience with MS SQL Server · Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue).
· Experience with Microsoft IIS/Windows, or equivalent server platforms.
· Full project management and development life cycle experience.
· Experience with Git and Microsoft DevOps is helpful.
· Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
· Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
· Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Strong customer service orientation.

· This position may require resolving support calls during evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
*Work Environment:* Working conditions: Works in an office environment with occasional travel to special events and conventions out of state.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
*Physical Demands: * Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds is required.
This would require the ability to lift computers and other IT equipment, as necessary.
