This Victorian corner chair probably dates back to the late 1800's and considered quite rare.
The wood has been restored and the seat has been reupholstered and is ready for a new home.
The corner chairs were used in the Victorian homes if they needed extra seating.
When not in use they were put in the corner of the room out of the way.
This chair has some beautiful carving on the legs and arms and on the back piece.
The metal wheels are original.
The braces between the legs are ornate as well as the legs themselves.
This chair has a graceful feel to it with the rounded front on the seat.
It is in amazing condition in spite of it's age.
The chair measures 27" from the front of the arm across to the other arm.
The chair seat is 23" from the front of the chair to the back post and is 16.
5"high.
the back of the chair is 32"high.
It is a very graceful piece of furniture that could be used in a guest bedroom, entryway, or anywhere you need and occasional chair.
It is truly one of a kind piece of history.
