This antique bentwood butter churn was made by the Standard Churn Company in Wapakoneta, OH in the late 1800's and belonged to my husbands cousin's great grandfather and then passed down to his grandfather and then to our cousin years ago and now they are downsizing and no longer have room for it.
It was used in Iowa but made in Ohio.
It is a #2 /7 gallon butter churn which made a lot of butter for their large family.
The churn has all the original paddles and the original crank.
It measures 18"wide x 14.
5"deep x 29"high.
It is in excellent condition considering its over a 100 years old.
Most of the original stenciling is still on the churn.
From my research this churn is quite rare.
If interested please call Sharon at Seven One Nine-488-Three Seven Seven Eight which is a land line number so won't accept texts.
